Frank Guzman
President

Frank is an active member of the Oh-Lá-Lá Orlando Pétanque Association in Orlando, Florida, USA. He has served as a Club President for five years. He is also the Vice President of the Federation Pétanque, USA (FPUSA) and has been active on the National Board and Sports Committee of the FPUSA. Frank serves on the Board of the FIPJP as well. He is the General Manager for the Boules Competition for the World Games being held in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, July 7–17, 2022.

Guillermo Cavero Vilela

Guillermo has played pétanque since he was 12 years old and was on his first national team at 17. He has an impressive record as a player. He is currently a professor, coach, and technical director of the Lima Regatas Club in Boachas, working with children and adults. He is the Sports Director of the Peruvian Bocas Sports Federation Olympic cycle period for 2021–2024.

Claude Azema
President FIPJP

Claude Azéma has been the President of the International Federation of Pétanque and the Game Provençal since 2004. From 1997 to 2009 he was President of the French Federation of Pétanque and the Game Provençal.

Mr. Claude Azema has taken on a new role as the newly elected President of the new World Petanque and Boules Federation (WPBF) this past November at the International congress in Santa Suzanna, Spain to add to his achievements.

Who We Are

The Pan American Confederation Pétanque (CPP) is affiliated with the International Federation of Pétanque and Provençal Game (FIPJP). It is a non-governmental, non-profit organization formed between the national pétanque federations of North and South America and the neighboring islands of the Western Hemisphere, under the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. The official languages of the CPP are French, English, and Spanish.

The CPP draws it values from those of the Olympic Movement and accepts the regulations and provisions implemented by the Olympic Committee. The CPP also abides by the rules of the FIPJP, to which all members must belong. The CPP and its membership must adhere to the WADA International Anti-Doping Code.

Our Goals

The CPP seeks to promote, develop, and monitor boules sports in the Americas in a spirit of peace, understanding, and fair play, without discrimination on the basis of politics, sex, religion, origin, or any other reason. We seek to ensure that sporting values prevail over commercial interests.

We believe that while promoting the game, we can equally promote the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the member federations.
